A simple man throughout his life, Tika Ram Paliwal was always devoted to the upliftment of the downtrodden. He began his career as a lawyer, but beyond practising law, he was also an active participant in India’s freedom movement and united a voice for farmers. In 1952, he became the first elected Chief Minister of Rajasthan at the age of 45 and was the youngest CM of his time.
