The seventh gallery brings forth the formation of the Rajasthan State. Unlike certain parts of India, British rule in Rajputana was indirect, where the British Crown had paramountcy over its various princely states and Chiefdoms. When India gained independence in 1947, the process of political integration of the Rajputana also began and was completed in five phases.
Besides, the gallery also showcases the evolutionary journey of its legislative assembly.
