Mohan Lal Sukhadia

Often regarded as the “founder of modern Rajasthan”, Mohan Lal Sukhadiaji served an uninterrupted tenure of 17 years as the Chief Minister, a golden era that transformed the face of the state. Although he initially pursued electrical engineering, his heart knew that he wanted to work for the greater good. He was an active member of Mewar Praja Mandal and Rajasthan Prantiya Sabha even before his stint as a CM and even faced imprisonment for raising his voice against the feudal chiefs, but his spirit remained undeterred.

Hence, the eighteenth gallery of this museum serves as the righteous homage to one of the most revered Chief Ministers of Rajasthan.
