Article 168 of the Indian Constitution states that each state shall consist of the Governor and two houses in case of a bicameral legislature i.e. Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council or one house in case of unicameral legislature i.e. Legislative Assembly only. Rajasthan State Legislature is unicameral in nature that comprises – the Governor and the Legislative Assembly.
