The fourteenth gallery shifts the narrative from Rajasthan’s polity to the biographies of the state’s administrative architects. This first gallery on the lower ground floor of the museum highlights the life points and career of the first Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Hiralal Shastri.
Shri Manikya Lal Verma, Jai Narayan Vyas, Gokul Bhai Bhatt and Hiralal Shastri are rightly regarded as heralds of political awakening in many of the princely states of Rajputana. Amongst them, Shastriji played a prominent role in the political integration of Rajasthan and paved the way for a democratic and modern administration in the State. Thus, it was no wonder that the masses looked up to him.
