Fondly revered as Babosa (Head of the Family, or Grandfather), Shri Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was a veteran political leader, an able administrator and a true son of the soil. He served the people of Rajasthan as Chief Minister for three terms and was eventually entrusted with the responsibilities of the Vice-President of the country in 2002 for his profound leadership.
