From his formative years, Shiv Charan Mathurji wanted to do something for his country and was always regarded as a person everyone could rely upon. Mathurji was sworn in as Rajasthan’s CM in 1981, at a time when the state was facing multiple administrative challenges. But despite all adversities, Mathurji demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities and became the Chief Minister of Rajasthan again in January 1988.
