The evolution of the House of People’s Representatives in Rajasthan is one of the most important developments in the constitutional history of India. Established in March 1952, the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly took over the administration of the once-diffused state with its 160 members. The Sawai Man Singh Town Hall of Jaipur housed the first assembly and remained the assembly building until 2000.
A projection mapping in the eighth gallery of this museum recounts the historic events of the Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha’s formation and evolution.
